He was preceded in death by his parents: Nelson and Linda Massengale Lowe; Brother: Billy Wade Lowe and Joyce Harness Lowe, 3 infant siblings: Johnny Wayne, Jennifer Louise, and Roger Dean; Brother- in-laws and Sister-in-laws: Betty Benson, Della Chambers, Anna and Robert Allen, Robert Parrot, Eddie Smith, Benny Miller and 2 infant siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Loretta Goad Lowe; Daughter and Son-in-law: Samantha Tracy Holder and Michael of Knoxville; Grandchildren: Trace M. Keane, Abigail G. Keane, and Wyatt M. Holder; Brother and Sister-in-law: Clem and Linda Low of Smokey Junction, Tennessee; Sister and Brother-in-laws: Charles and Charlotte Haun of Wartburg, Tennessee, Jim Benson of Moscow, Idaho, Eugene Chambers of Straight Fork, Susie and Jim Kerce of Rome, Georgia, Jerry and Sherry Goad of Straight Fork, Sherry and Paul Baird of Arlington, Tennessee, Jackie and Roger Lawson of Amherst, Ohio, Steve and Alane Goad of Straight Fork, Kathy Parrot of Straight Fork, Elfreeda Goad of Straight Fork, and Teddy and Misty Goad of Straight Fork; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, and many other relatives, friends, and church family.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Brian Kirkland and Bro. Jimmy Miller officiating. Music to be provided by Delores Latham, David Whaley, Kim and Michael Berrier. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hembree Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Doug Low, Clem Jefferey Low, Danny Smith, Kevin Smith, Doug Goad, John Goad.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Goad, Steve Goad, Teddy Goad, James Baird, Wendall Cross, and Ted Lewelling.
