Emma G. Nodine, 68, of 3202 Eagleville Road, Eaton, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at home, with her loving family by her side, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on August 20, 1957, in Sangerfield, the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna(Snyder) Pratt.

Emma spent her early years in Munnsville, attending the Stockbridge schools. She lived in Canastota for many years, and has lived in Eaton for the last four years.

She worked at McDonald's in Canastota for many years, and had previously work at Isadore Rapasadi & Sons in Canastota.

Emma enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, horses, country music, Elvis, and spending time with her family and friends.

She married John S. "Jack" Nodine, Sr. on December 30, 1972, in Munnsville. Jack passed away on January 25, 2010.

Surviving are: three sons, Jack and June Nodine of Earlville, Clarence Nodine and his companion, Marianne McCormick of Canastota, Ernest and Lisa Nodine of Canastota; one daughter, Emmie and Lyman Smith of Eaton; five bonus children, Candy and David McCormick of Wampsville, Jon and Rita Nodine of Canastota, Alicia Lenhart of Vernon, Joel and Kimberly Nodine of Canastota, and Lois Nodine of Tully; two sisters, Betty and Ray Angle of Florida, and Pat Thompson of Canastota; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Emma was predeceased by one son, John S. Nodine, Jr.; and one sister, Anna Wagoner.

Calling hours will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home following the calling hours. Pastor Donna Chapman of the Whitelaw Presbyterian Church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota.

In her memory, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
