Wayne Earl Nodine, 85, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his residence.
Born in Campobello, South Carolina on February 9, 1941, a son of the late Frances Jeanette (Waldrop) Nodine and Fred Earl Nodine and is survived by his sister, Barbara Anderson and her husband Wayne.
He was the husband of Christy Ann (Heller) Nodine, having celebrated 25 years of marriage.
Mr. Nodine was a graduate of Limestone College, was employed with Milliken for 13 years and from 1987 forward he did residential rentals and was the owner of Blue Ridge Auto Rentals.
He was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, and proudly served in the Army National Guard. He loved God, his Country, his home, his farm, and his animals, especially his dog "Little Bit".
In addition to his wife Christy, he is also survived by two daughters, Pamela Tolleson and her husband Mike; Cameron Weaver and her husband Brian; one son, Anthony Wayne Nodine; one step-daughter, Miranda Rowe and her husband Jamie; one step-son, Andrew Malone and his wife Brittany; along with 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild and three very special friends, Gene Mavroftas, Dean Strange and James Tapp.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Malone and Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mr. Nodine may be made to: Serenity Hospice Care, 317 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, South Carolina 29340.
