Suzanne Bonham Burch passed peacefully on March 10, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum SC. She resided at Wesley Court Assisted Living In Boiling Springs, SC. She was a Methodist and a graduate of Chapman High School. She was born December 3, 1940 in Spartanburg to John Herbert Bonham and Virginia Hensley Bonham. Suzanne had 2 sisters; Lizabeth Bonham Weber (deceased) & Tom of High Point NC and Carolyne Bonham Denonno of Fayetteville NC. She married Richard Gene Burch on March 21, 1959 and they were subsequently divorced. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Pamela (Mike) Burch Sparks of Boiling Springs SC and Donna Burch Gardner of Davenport, IA; 3 grandchildren, Col James T Horne III & Emilie of Lompoc CA, Valaree Horne Easler & Jon Mark of Boiling Springs SC and Cory William Gardner & Kimberly of Moline IL, 8 great grandchildren Noah, Elliana, & Asher Horne, Tripp & Augusta Easler, and Lillian, Winifred, and Joanna Gardner. Step granddaughter Christy Sparks of Easley,SC and 3 step grandchildren McKenziee,McKavan And Kamryn Sparks. Family is at the home of her daughter Pamela Sparks in Boiling Springs. A private family gathering is planned. Her final resting place will be Roan Mountain Rhododendron Garden in Roan Mountain NC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Agape Hospice of Spartanburg, 1060 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
