Emma Ray Elizabeth Bugg Hartsfield, 90, of Bradyville passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Woodbury Health and Rehab. Born in Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Oscar Ellis Bugg and Myra Aspen Smithson Bugg.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benjamin Welling Hartsfield of Bradyville; her daughter, Beth (Mance) Davis of Bradyville; granddaughters, Aidan Elizabeth Davis, Cadee Grace Davis and Anne Christine Davis all of Bradyville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her siblings, Mary Nichols, Paul Bugg, Alfred Oswald Bugg, Christine Floyd and Juel McConnell.
A member of the West High church of Christ, she was a wonderful homemaker and an adult basic education teacher. Mrs. Elizabeth was kind to everyone, loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was giving and kind. She was a artist, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and gardening.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024 with funeral services to follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jernigan Cemetery.
