Emma Lee Robinson, 88, of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025.
She was born on September 28, 1936 to Crit and Mary Tackett in Weeksbury, Kentucky.
Emma married Jackie L. Robinson on July 10, 1954, and they shared 64 years of happy marriage, together raising six children.
She was part of the Lighthouse of Prayer Church and Solid Foundation Pentecostal Church. Emma served our Lord as a minister, and shared the word of the Lord with many, both in person and on TV 39 Ministries.
She lived a very full, precious, and rewarding life.
Emma is preceded in death by her loving husband Jackie Robinson; parents Crit and Mary Tackett; brothers Estil Tackett, Edgar Tackett, and Bobby Tackett; sisters Rosalie Woods and Virginia Gibson; and children Jackie Jr. Robinson, Judy Ann Hall, and Cathy L. Robinson.
She is survived by her children Randall (Sue) Robinson, Daniel (Lisa) Robinson, and Rick Robinson; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; some great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Friends and family may come to honor Emma’s life at Edwards Funeral Service Hughes-Allen Chapel on January 6, 2025 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, and January 7, 2025 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. A service will follow at 1:00PM, and will be officiated by Pastor Denver Combs. Burial will follow service at the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
