Johnny Arthur Obituary
He was born on May 5, 1963, in Marion, to Jesse "Jiggs" and Nina Pearl (Stoneburner) Arthur. He was a proud graduate of Harding High School, class of 1982.
Johnny worked for many years as a truck driver and also dedicated a significant part of his career to Marion Steel. He later retired in 2021 as a steel fabricator from Harris Rebar.
Johnny enjoyed life in his own way. He loved riding motorcycles, fishing, shooting pool, and camping with his family. He had a knack for starting projects-finishing them on his own timeline. He especially enjoyed spending time out at the bars with friends, where he could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Johnny was known for his many stories and his ability to tell a good joke. Strong-willed and set in his ways, his stubbornness was simply part of what made him uniquely himself.
Johnny will be deeply missed by his daughters: Ashley Arthur, Kimberly (Kylene) Curl, Sarah (Raven) Reebel, and Sierra (Raven) Arthur; grandchildren: Kaden, Xander, Astarra, Savannah and Cora; and brothers: Jack (Cindy), Jesse (Linda), and Jerry Arthur.
He is preceded in death by his father Jesse, mother Nina and step-father Clyde; his beloved wife Lisa Arthur; son Johnny Arthur, II and brothers Joe and Jay Arthur.
Celebration of Life service will be Saturday March 28, 2026 at Dino's, 810 Davids St, Marion, OH 43302 starting at 4PM.
