Larry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margo (Cook) Gruber, whom he married on September 16, 1961; daughters, Allyce (James) McDougall of Powell, Melissa Gruber of Las Vegas, NV, and Monica (Bryan) Tomlin of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren Morgan Bilbrey, McKenna (Brandon) Wikoff, Carson McDougall, Nia Attanasio and Nick Attanasio and 6 great grandchildren Andi, Jason, Rhett, Walynn, Rylan and Ivy. He is also survived by a special uncle Roger Graff and cousin Jimmy Gruber.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 South Prospect St., Marion. The family will receive family and friends starting at 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 170 Mansfield Ave. Mt Vernon, OH 43050 or Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 South Prospect St., Marion, Ohio 43302.
