Emma Shipes Obituary
She was born on August 25, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Felton W. Crapps and Virgie Hunnicutt Crapps. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, New Horizon Freewill Baptist Church and most recent Open Door Ministries.
Emma is survived by her children, Sammy Shipes, Bradley Shipes, Angie McGee and Ann Cathcart; her eight grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren and her three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her children, Buster Shipes and David Shipes.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charles Brewington officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the Shipes family with services.
