Emma Grace West was born April 8, 2002 at 7:56 am in Shreveport, Louisiana to her mother Carol Ann Dennis West. Emma passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 29th, 2024 shortly after Thanksgiving.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 9th at 2:00 pm at Fairview cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
Emma went to Lawton High School where she ran track and hurdles. After graduating she moved to Norman with her long-time boyfriend Braydon Pohocsucut, while working at Slim Chickens and preferred the morning shift as she was always an early bird. In her free time Emma enjoyed watching movies, some of her favorites included the "Twilight Saga", "Avatar", and "Guardians of the Galaxy". Emma also loved to read and even wrote her own stories. A few of her favorite books were "Twilight Saga" and "Hush, Hush". Emma was the type of person who everyone loved and she loved them too. She was a good person, a kind soul who loved her friends, her dear family, and God. She was someone who cared for others and would look out for the elderly and was an animal lover, especially to her family dog, Winnie.
Survivors include her mother, Carol West; her sisters: Lauren Eve West and Summer Elizabeth West; grandmother, Tisha Muse Dennis; great-grandmother, Opal Anne Muse; Uncle Joseph Dennis; Braydon Pohocsucut.

My first memory of Emma is when I was introduced to her, I thought she was a beautiful little angel and she was so sweet and full of love.
