With an incredibly sad heart, we announce the passing of Lynn Williams, who left us on December 24, 2025 at the age of 80 years old. After a heroic fight with cancer, she has now gone home to be in the presence of Jesus, the one true King.

Lynn grew up in Sulphur, OK. In 1966, she moved to Southeast Texas to teach at Travis Elementary. Two years later, she married Wayman Williams, the love of her life and her husband of over 57 years. Lynn left teaching to help run their business, W. Williams Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. She loved hosting gatherings in the home she built with her husband and where they raised their son, Kelly Williams.

School and church were deeply important to Lynn. She was a life member of the PTA and the current longest PNG football season ticket holder. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Port Neches. Lynn loved her church and her church family, which she joyfully served in many areas. She was also an active member of BSF, Bible Study Fellowship.

You may have been taught by her at Travis, or you may have sat next to her at a bible study or at a football game. You may have been lucky enough to have her listening ear while you struggled with something in your life. If, by chance, you had one of these encounters your life was impacted by her caring spirit. Lynn’s real legacy is that she was always the best listener, teacher, and friend to everyone.

Lynn leaves behind her husband Wayman, who stood by her through all that life brought, and her forever loving son, Kelly, and his fiancé, Dulce Carbajal, of Austin.

Lynn is also survived by several loving family members: her sister, Barbara Mann, of Sulphur, OK; her brother David Richburg and his wife Ruby, also of Sulphur, OK; and niece and nephews Glenn Mann, Connie Little, and John Richburg. She also leaves dear friends Peggy and Phil Sanderson; Rhonda Hall; Scott and Jeanifer Bartlett and their sons Tyson and Mike; and Leo and Sandy Hebert, her special neighbors of over 53 years. We also honor those who preceded Lynn in death: her brother-in-law Burl Mann; her nephew Joe Richburg; her in-laws Leonard and Bernice Williams; and her parents, AR and Iva Richburg, who we know greeted her with open arms at the gates of heaven.

Visitation for Lynn will be held on December 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Port Neches, located at 1900 Magnolia Avenue, Port Neches, Texas. All are welcome to join in celebrating the life of this extraordinary woman.

“It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that really matters. Thank you for being in mine.”

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Carol Stefflen Scholarship Fund in care of FBC Port Neches, a scholarship Lynn helped start in honor of her late friend.
