Emmanuel Fulton Delano Keel was born Immanuel Earl Luis Fulton on December 27, 1989, in Tacoma, Washington. Early in life, he entered the foster care system, and in November 1991, he found a safe and loving home with Kent and Renee Keel through the support of One Church, One Child and the State of Washington.

Over the next several years, Emmanuel flourished in the nurturing care of the Keel family. In 1996, that bond was made permanent when Kent and Renee adopted him, giving him not only a new name but a forever family. Emmanuel grew up as a cherished son and brother, surrounded by love and unwavering support.

A bright and spirited young man, Emmanuel was known for his vibrant personality and contagious smile. He had a deep love for music, learning to play both the piano and saxophone. His creativity extended to drawing and hands-on projects, and he found joy in expressing himself through art and design. He was also a talented athlete who enjoyed playing basketball.

Emmanuel graduated from Curtis High School in 2008. He will be remembered for his wit, warmth, and sense of humor. There was never a dull moment when he was around-he lit up every room with laughter and light. His good looks and charming personality won people over, but it was his respectful and tender heart that truly defined him. Always willing to help, Emmanuel consistently put others before himself. New Jerusalem COGIC was a very big part of his foundation.

His family and friends will cherish and treasure every memory. Emmanuel's life was a blessing to many who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted parents, Kent and Renee Keel; his cherished sisters, Linnea and Lacey; dear maternal grandmother, many aunts, uncles, cousins; several biological siblings; and his four beloved daughters. His life touched many, and his legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on in all who were fortunate to know him.
