Manny was a co-worker of mine in Somers. I was new in the last few years and found him the sweetest most genuine person. Always kind, always a good word. He loved "his kids" and seemed to love his Job. We got to meet his sweet dog which was a reflection on his gentle spirit. I watched his illness take a toll on him but it never took his smile or joy. Rest in peace in heaven Manny. You are missed.

Manny,
Thank you for being the absolute best bus driver there was! His kind heart and spirit will forever be cherished and missed. I will never forget his endless imagination story´s he would tell us kids on the bus, like how he loves his box house and living with his pet unicorn. Manny always was there for the kids. Matter the time of day. He truly loved his job and cared so much for us kids. Thank you Manny for everything.

Manny was my bus driver in Somers from 2005-2007. He played a pivotal role in those early elementary school days- Arranging our bus seats according to who was friends and who was "dating" each week, had to be tricky. He was always patient when we´d practice our 4th grade chorus songs over and over and over. My family appreciated how much he cared about all of us. He will be missed! My thoughts are with his friends and family during this difficult time.

Manny was my family´s bus driver since we entered the Somers Public School system. I was honored to have met him and been able to experience the joy he brought to us. He had a smile on his face every time he drove our bus, and I am deeply sorry to hear he has passed. My deepest condolences go out to his family members, and I hope that all of you may find solace in this tragedy.
