ENID LOUISE WANN
June 14, 1946 ˜ July 31, 2023
Enid went home to be with the Lord, passing away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of July 31 at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Enid was born in Portland, OR, to Charles Emerson Halstead and Vivian May (Creigmile) Halstead.
Enid was raised in Portland; enjoying her childhood with her sister, Leona (Emburg) and brother, Ronald.
In early 1970, Enid met the love of her life, Marvin Lee Wann, and his three children, Leann, Joe and Melvin. Enid and Marvin married Oct. 17, 1970, and settled in Vancouver, WA, where they began their own blended family, welcoming sons, Kevin and Jason, and daughter, Jennifer.
Enid was a professional hairstylist, working for many years at Karen’s Karrousel Beauty Salon in Vancouver and then for local retirement centers.
Enid was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; brother, Ronald; stepson, Melvin; and stepdaughter, Leann.
Enid leaves behind her children, Kevin (Nicki), Jason (Tara), and Jennifer Colbert; as well as eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Enid had a love of animals. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Southwest Washington Humane Society. An anonymous donor is matching the first $10,000 in donations made in Enid’s name.
Memorial services for Enid will be Friday, Sept. 8, at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens (1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684).

I was one of Enid´s CVan drivers- what a lovely woman. We got along great. I´m so sorry for your loss. I will miss her!
