Enrique N. Barreras

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Enrique Barreras, affectionately referred to as "GOMER", on October 10, 2025, at 3:24 pm, at the age of 71. At the time of his passing he was sorrounded by his loved ones. A lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, he worked as a general laborer and was cherished by his family and friends, who admired his kind heart and humble spirit. Enrique's passions included playing dice and cards, listening to music, and spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his son Enrique Barreras Jr., daughter Linda Barreras, and seven grandchildren, in addition to one brother, Lorenzo Barreras, and four sisters, Stella Whittington, Bertha Limon, Martha Robles, and Suky Acosta. Enrique was preceded in death by his father Margarito Barreras, mother Cruz Barreras, daughter Patricia Barreras, and two sisters, Yolanda Valdez and Silvia Arellano.
