Epaminondas Zarokostas Obituary
Born in Leonidio, Greece, he was the son of the late Konstantinos and Irene (Trikoulis) Zarokostas.
Epaminondas was the owner and head cook at Maria's Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant, where he worked alongside his wife for 24 years. He was extremely dedicated not only to his work but also to his family and friends, always going out of his way to make sure everyone was well taken care of.
Besides his wife, Epaminondas is survived by his children Konstantinos and Irene Zarokostas, his beloved grandchildren Jordan and Jada Zarokostas. He was also the brother of Jean Likos, Sofia Tzanetos, and Georgia Lysikatos.
A private funeral service was held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cranston. Followed by his burial in North Burial Ground, Providence.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Epaminondas's memory may be made to Zinnia Health Exeter 251 Main St, Exeter, RI 02822.

Dear Maria, Gus and Irene,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my old friend Peter. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. He was a remarkable person whose kindness and spirited demeanor touched everyone who knew him. I will always cherish the memories we shared at the restaurants and in the neighborhood.
