Born June 27, 1940, in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Domenica "Anna" (Greco) Lamantia.
He was the father of Anthony Lamantia, Jr. and his wife Christina, and the late John Lamantia; grandfather of Stephanie, Brittney, John, Cambria and Tianna; and the brother of Joseph Lamantia and David Lamantia.
His funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, at 9:15am from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark's Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday morning, Dec. 4, from 8am until 9:15am in the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home.
