Eric Chance Obituary
Eric Wayne Chance, 40, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his residence in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born on February 28, 1984, in Greenfield, Indiana.
He graduated from Eastern Hancock Schools in 2003. Eric later worked for the State of Indiana as apart of the Marking Crew. He worked for the state for over 20 years. Eric loved to hunt, fish, and being outdoors. He enjoyed having fun and being around people.
Eric leaves behind his two children whom he loved very much, Corbin and Elizabeth "Libby" Chance, at home; Sister, Kindra (Brian) Carpenter, of Ohio; Best friend, Derek Harmon and Sara's best friend, Heather Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife whom passed away on November 4, 2020, Sara (Littrell) Chance, his mother, Deanna (Wales) Chance, and his grandparents, Sharon and Ralph Wales.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes, Condo Chapel, 130 South Main Street, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186.
A funeral service celebrating Eric's life will take place on Wednesday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home for a trust for his children, Corbin and Libby.
