Eric J. Christensen, 57, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was the loving husband of Debra (Standish) Christensen for 27 years.
Eric was born on September 13, 1967 in Meriden to the late John and Dorothy (Kizilski) Christensen. He earned his associate’s degree in nursing from Naugatuck Valley Community College and worked as a registered nurse for many years. In his younger years, he enjoyed running and was proud to have completed the Disney Marathon in 2005.
In addition to his wife Debbie, Eric is survived by three sons, Eric Christensen Jr. of Southington, Ethan Christensen and Leigha Chandler of Plainville and Nicholas Christensen of Southington. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, James and Phyllis Standish of Meriden and two brothers-in-law, James Standish and wife Amy of Palmetto, FL and Andrew Standish and wife Heather of Bristol.
