Eric Rudolph Christenson, 64, of Grand Island passed away Friday, November 7, 2025.

Memorial service and celebration of Eric's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 20th, at All Faiths Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials are suggested to Central Nebraska Humane Society.

Eric was born February 22, 1961, in Grand Island, the son of Ware and Ruth (Kuester) Christenson. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High, class of 1978.

On August 28, 1982, Eric married Cindy Dingus. They were the co-owners and founders of Janitor, Inc. and Christenson Carpet Cleaning. He was a Charter member of the Grand Island Saddle Club and former member of the Liederkranz.

Eric enjoyed fishing, swimming and bowling. As a previous Kuester Lake board member, he was still a fan of all Kuester Lake activities. Always quick with a joke, Eric loved putting a smile on everyone's face.

Those who cherish his memory include his fiancée, Tammy Comeau; children, Erica (Trevor) May and their children, Emersyn and Madison; Charnel Christenson (Scott Jasnoch); and Charlie (Jade) Christenson and their daughter.

He is also survived by brothers, Randy (Debra) Christenson and Rusty (Buffy) Christenson, and a nephew, Cameron Dingus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; parents; and grandparents, Rudolph and Frances Kuester.
