Eric M. Colapinto

Eric M. Colapinto, 44, of New Britain, passed away Monday (August 25, 2025). A native and lifelong New Britain resident, Eric is a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School and was employed as a Quality Control Manager at Precision Threaded Products in Bristol for over 20 years. Surviving are four aunts, Carole Ostapchuk and her husband Walter of East Orleans, MA; Susan Nichols and her husband Paul of Bristol; Paula Magyar and her husband Keith of Brewster, MA; and Nancy Ginnerty and her husband Michael of Bristol; four uncles, Thomas Colapinto of Bristol; Dennis Rider of Enfield; Kenneth Rider of Rhode Island and Paul Margolfo; along with many cousins. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Darlene (Rider) Colapinto; two aunts, Karen Rider and Janice Margolfo; and uncle, Leigh Rider; and his two beloved, loyal dogs, Buddy and Meatball. A Memorial Service will be held Friday (Sept 5, 2025) 12 NOON at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
