Eric Wesley Cutler Sr., affectionally called "Poo Poo" by his family and friends, blessed this earth on December 2, 1975, the son of John W. Hunt and Fannie Mae Cutler.
Eric, was born in Chicago, IL. During his adolescence years he relocated to Springfield, IL, where he received his education at Lanphier High School. He was a jack of all trades, always working various of jobs to support his family. No job was too big or too little.
In his spare time, he enjoyed playing card games, and was skillful in spades. He enjoyed the challenge of installing music in cars, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
On April 4, 2023, Eric departed this earth at the age of 47, to be with the Lord. His presence here on earth will be missed by all those who knew Eric.
Eric leaves to cherish his memories, his loving children, Devante Cutler, Eric Cutler Jr., and Anijha Cutler; significant other, Kendra Cutler; father, John Hunt; brothers, Isaiah (Jodale) Cutler, Antonio Cutler and Isaah Washington; sisters, Mary Ann Cutler, Rosena Washington, Elizabeth (Will) Olden, Annie Harris and Lori Washington; grandchildren, Eric D. Cutler, Devine Cutler and Aliyah Cutler; aunt, Armey Jean Gordon; and uncle, Bobby Cutler. Eric also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mae Cutler and one grandson, Millieon Cutler.
