Eric Paul Date, age 53, of union Mills, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his home.
Eric was born Monday, March 6, 1972, in Wausau, Wisconsin to Robert Sisk and the late Kelly Date. Eric was an arborist who was good at his job taking care of trees. He was a hard worker who loved old western movies and the Rolling Stones. Eric was an outdoors person who liked animals and old cars. He was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. Eric will be missed by everyone that knew him.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son Ryan Date.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Corey Date (Marisa Yelton), Amber Sommerfeldt, Emily Sommerfeldt, Seth Davis; brothers, Chad Sisk (Katie), Rodney Sisk (Leann); sisters, Natalie Deyton (Clint), Rebekah Pfefferle; grandchildren, Blace Date, Brilee Date, Madilynn Sommerfeldt, Cali Date, Cade Date, Justice Date, and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service at 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 12th at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church conducted by Rev. Chad Sisk.
