Morrell Date Obituary
Born on Sept. 3, 1934, in Smoke Run, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Date.
She was a graduate of Madera High School.
She retired from Shop Rite.
She is survived by a good friend Martha Pattley of Levittown; nieces, Joanne (Danny) Dalessandro of Langhorne, and Lisa (Larry Jr.) Wilson of Glasgow; nephews, James (Virginia) Bedekovich, Mark (Krista) Bedekovich both of Smithmill, Thomas Jr. (Sue) Date of Smoke Run, and Kevin (Frances) Date of Ramey; numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; and Morrell's special neighbors Bill and Lisa Johnson and family.
She is the last of her generation.
In addition to her parents, Morrell was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Joe Bedekovich; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Myra Date; niece, Karan Myers; great nephew, Joshua Date; and a special friend, Barbara "Bobbie" Waters.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Going to her second home in Smoke Run. Watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and her fur buddy "Becca".
As per the deceased there will be no visitation.
Services will be held at the Allemansville United Methodist Church, Allemansville, on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026. Pastor Robert Ford will officiate. Committal will be immediately following at the Hegarty's Crossroads Cemetery, Beccaria Township.
