Eric Thomas Davidson

Eric Thomas Davidson 58 passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C. after a short illness.
He was born November 27, 1966, in Butler, Pennsylvania to his devoted parents, the late Walter T. and Yvonne E. Davidson.
Eric attended and graduated from Butler High School in Butler, Pennsylvania. Following his graduation, he moved with his parents in 1990 to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and immediately began working with the Horry County Special Needs and Disabilities in the ironing department. Eric also enjoyed working with the Surfside Car Wash and Goodwill of Myrtle Beach.
Eric loved spending time with his family, his cousins and his house mates. He enjoyed listening to 80's music, eating his favorite pizza and enjoying a Diet Coke. He also enjoyed going to Walmart and getting "new stuff" and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers football games on TV and in person.
Eric will be remembered by his housemates who held a special place in his life, and whom he dearly loved at the Forestbrook Group home along with the wonderful staff at Horry County Special Needs and Disabilities in the ironing department.
Eric is survived by his cousins, Kimberly (Donald) Little, Michele Creamer, Milanne (Robert) Weigert, Danielle Grandelis, Tina Wonderly, Kathy (Spud) Harper and an Aunt Patricia Davidson.
A service to Celebrate Eric's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025, at McMillan – Small Funeral Home with Dr. J. Kirk Lawton, Jr. officiating. He will be buried with his parents following the service at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
