Eric Robert Davis, 42, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Gilman Healthcare, in Gilman.
Eric was born on May 3, 1982, in Danville, the son of Ronnie C. and Diana (Razmus) Davis. He is survived by his mother- Diana Davis of Georgetown; father- Ronnie (Debbie) Davis of Veedersburg, IN; brother- Kyle (Jessica) Davis of Ridge Farm; half-brother- Sean (Courtney) Mankin of Hume; half-sister- Alicia (Mike) Marvin of Chrisman; maternal grandmother-Shirley Razmus of Georgetown; paternal grandmother- Jennie Davis of Hoopeston; aunt and uncles- Angie and Tom Adair of Georgetown, Rose Davis of Hoopeston and Randy Lyons of Tilton; five nephews- Jaxen Davis, Madyx Davis, Wyatt Keck, Theo Mankin and Graham Mankin; three nieces- Hayden Willoby, Huxley Hill and Kaylee Keck; cousins- Jake (Laken) Lyons, Natalie Lyons, Rachel (Desteny) Adair, Patrick (Mick) Crim, Haylee (Josh) Spain, Layni (Loren) Green, Darcey (Logan) Razmus and Victoria (Oistin) Razmus; special caregivers- Theresa, Tamika and Chylie; special aids- Dixie, Bonnie and Norine; and special bus driver- Marilyn.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather- Tom Razmus; paternal grandfather- Herman Davis; aunt- Teresa Lyons; and uncle-Mike Razmus.
Eric graduated from Westville High School. He was a member of AMBUCS and enjoyed going to their Christmas parties and summer camp. Eric loved going to his grandma's house and eating treats and dinner. He also loved to walk all through the house.
A Celebration of Eric's Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Olivet Church of the Nazarene, 5054 Olivet Road, Georgetown, IL, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, at the church. He will be laid to rest following the services in Forest Park Cemetery.
