Eric De la Cruz Obituary
Eric attended Hawaii Business College. Eric was so talented that his design for his class t-shirt was chosen among many students. He was always thinking creatively and doodling in his books. Eric was an inspiration to many of his fellow students that he always took the time to listen and give heartwarming advice, as well as inspire drawings. He continued his education at Lone Star College-North Harris in Houston, TX.
Eric was also a very talented photographer with a great perception of seeing beauty in every day life. His photos graced many local magazines and he acquired a solid clientele.
Eric is survived by his mother, Melecia De la Cruz; sister, Evangeline Mortenson (Thomas) and son Keanu; brother, Elbert De la Cruz.
He was preceded in death by his partner, Richard McDougal; father, Ray De la Cruz; sister, Elsie Dimaya; brother Romualdo De la Cruz, Jr; and his beloved dog, Mr. Mocha.
His memorial service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Rose Chapel, 1130 S Horne St., Mesa, AZ 85204 on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
