Eric A. Fisher, 26, lifelong resident of Vernon, loving husband of Amanda (Grous) Fisher, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Eric was born on July 21, 1995, in Rockville, beloved son of Alan and Jeanne (Veillette) Fisher of Vernon. He was raised in Vernon, attended local schools and was a graduate of Rockville High School, Class of 2013. Eric was a train operator and welder by tradeand had been previously employed with LORAM. He enjoyed building model muscle cars and trains, spending time at the beach and being with his friends.
In addition to his loving Amanda and his parents, Eric is survived by his siblings, Justin, Ryan and Emily, paternal grandmother, Mary Fisher, maternal grandparents, Eugene and Judy Veillette, his mother-in-law Kim Grous, several aunts, uncles, cousins and their families and his faithful dog, Roxxane. Eric was predeceased by his grandfather Barry Fisher and his father-in-law Jeffrey Alexander.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road in Vernon on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 5-7 pm. In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or to NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse).
