In Loving Memory
Eric E. Gardner
August 3, 2023
Eric E. Gardner, 35, of Williamstown, NY; passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1988 in Oneida, NY to Mark E. Gardner and Kimberly L. Champlin. Eric was a graduate of the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District.
Eric worked as a Logger for Gardner Logging in Williamstown, NY. From a young age, Eric had a passion for the outdoors. He lived to be in the woods and loved the smell of the outdoors. In July of 2022, he established his own business, Ground View Excavating, LLC. He was extremely proud of his work and of his dump truck that he just had completed for his new business.
Eric was full of life and was always quick with a joke. He was a wonderful father and loved his fiancé, his children and his dog, Lincoln, more than anything. Everything he worked for and did was for them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motocross, snowmobiling, motorcycles and muscle cars. He liked to cook and enjoyed going to breakfast at the Huckleberry Café in Lacona. He also liked to travel. Eric was always grateful for all that he did and all that life had given him.
He was pre-deceased by his grandfathers, Claude Gardner and Vince Comstock; along with this step-brother, Taylor House and cousin, Taya Granger.
Eric is survived by the love of his life, his fiancée, Samantha Isabell; his parents, Mark (Casey House) Gardner and Kimberly Champlin; his children, Aiden Horning, Aubbry Gardner and Eric Gardner, Jr.; his sister, Tannisha Gardner; his grandmothers, Connie Gardner and Helen Comstock; niece and nephew, Jacelyn Collins and Teagan Gardner; step-brother, Tommy Abrantes; aunts & uncles, Brian and Rebecca Gardner and Kimberley and Jason Kahler; along with several cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Following the service, Food will be served at Bucks Restaurant, 469 State Rt. 13 Williamstown, NY.

I´m so sorry to hear of Eric´s death. I didn´t know him really well, I only knew him as an acquaintance. Still, it´s saddening to hear that someone so young passed away so suddenly. I send my condolences to his family. May the Lord watch over him and welcome him to heaven.
