West Winfield, NY - Jesse-Len P. Scales-Rouse, 69, passed away on February 10, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on January 23, 1957, in Rome, Jesse-Len, a lifelong Christian was the beloved daughter of the late Alex and Elizabeth "Betty" Armstrong Scales. She attended Rome Public and Parochial schools further pursuing a nursing degree, dedicating her life to caring for others. Jesse-Len worked as a nurse at Central New York Developmental Services Office (CNYDSO), where she compassionately served individuals in her care.

She was united in marriage to her devoted and loving husband, Randall Rouse, on August 5, 2000.

In addition to her husband, Jesse-Len is survived by her siblings: Roger (Kathleen) Scales, Richard (Rena) Scales, Randal (Becca) Scales, Jennifer (Keith) Kanclerz, Ronald (Karen) Scales, and Jerilyn (Thomas) Pugh; her brother-in-law Wayne (Wendy) Rouse; and sister-in-law Rose Sabia. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, all with whom she shared a unique and special bond, along with numerous life long childhood friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; her mother-in-law, Virginia Chiasson; her sister-in-law, Sandra Rouse; and two beloved nephews, Bradley Scales and Gary Vaughn.

Jesse-Len will be remembered for her loving heart, her kindness, and her devotion to family and those she served. She had an affinity for music, enjoyed playing guitar and singing with her family and friends. She was quick witted and enjoyed problem solving along with riddles. Her gentle spirit and unwavering compassion touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.

Funeral Service Information will be as Follows:

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to Calling Hours from 2 - 4 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Spring Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg, NY.
