CAMDEN, NY - Ross E. Douglas (Homer) of Camden, NY passed away on January 12, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 9, 1961, in Rome, NY, to the late Richard Douglas Sr. And Muritta Douglas (Adams).
Ross was employed at Harden Furniture for over 34 years, then worked for the state until he retired.
Ross loved his family more than anything, he was a proud father, and grandfather. He enjoyed working on trucks, jeeps, building, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ross was a Camden resident for 63 Years.
He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Muritta Douglas and his sister Joanne Douglas.
He is survived by two children Ross Douglas Jr. and Sarah Oakley (Douglas), his two grandchildren whom he adored Brently and Axel. His brother's Richard Douglas Jr, his wife Mary Douglas, Ron Douglas and his wife Lynne, his sister Tammy Burke (Douglas) her husband Ron, his three beloved "grand-doggers", and many loving family members and friend's.
Funeral Services will be celebrated Privately. Ross will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg, NY. Arrangements are in care of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Camden, NY.

Condolences to the family. I never got the chance To meet Ross in person
I've heard nothing but good about Ross thru my daughter Lisa and I did talk to him on the phone a few times.
