FLANAGAN- Jacqueline (Jackie) S. Jesse, 80, of Flanagan passed away on January 12, 2026, at OSF Saint James Medical Center in Pontiac.
Cremation has been accorded, and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Moweaqua, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation at www.abcf.org. Calvert & Johnson memorial Home in Flanagan is assisting with arrangements.
Jacqueline was born in Towanda, Illinois on February 10, 1945, a daughter to William J. and Kathryn L. (Young) Mayfield. She married James R. Jesse in Decatur, Illinois on April 26, 1968. He survives.
Also surviving are her sons, Jason (Tina)Jesse, Cornell, Josh (Stephanie)Jesse, Paducah KY; 3 grandchildren Regan Jesse, Cornell. Dylan and Brooklyn Jesse, Paducah, Ky. and sister Diane Peifer, Bloomington, IL.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; infant daughter Jamie Jesse; and brother William I. Mayfield.
Jacqueline was a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Flanagan. She retired from Green Tree Pharmacy in 2010. Online memorials and condolences may be sent to her family at www.calvertmemorial.com.
