Eric Thomas Griffin

Eric Thomas Griffin, 37, Rockford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was born August 16, 1984, in Rockford, the son of Thomas A. and Darla (Willis) Griffin. He was a veteran serving in the Air Force. Eric worked as a machinist in the Rockford area. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Eric was an honorable family man and they went on many adventures together. He also enjoyed riding and racing his motorcycles. He was a kind, honest, and humble man who was loved and respected by many! He is survived by his life partner, Stephanie Griffin; his sons, Tyler and Brayden Griffin; his granddaughter, Amelia Griffin; his father, Thomas Griffin and his mother, Darla Griffin; his sisters, Marissa Griffin, Kelly (Andrew) Campbell, and Carrie (Antwon) Griffin Jones; his brothers, Wesley Grimes and Jeremy Griffin; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his special aunt, Denise Shaw, and many wonderful friends.
