Eric Ryan Hazen passed away on December 02, 2022 at the young age of 34. Eric was born in Parsons Kansas to Greg and Lori Hazen on May 09, 1988. During his childhood, he was raised in Ottawa KS on the family farm. With a deep appreciation for faith and family, he had a strong bond with his grandparents who lived next door and helped out around the farm. He was especially close with his Grandma Kissinger. Eric was also raised and baptized in the Church of Christ.
Eric always gravitated toward art, this included sketching, dancing, painting, and creating. He was a member of the Town & Country 4-H club where he made several life long friends. Eric attracted the spotlight wherever he was found.
His teenage years highlighted Eric's wild side, living life to the fullest, despite finding himself in a few predicaments. While adulthood may have tamed him down, it never stopped him from living his colorful lifestyle. He was a gentle giant, standing at 6'5" as he towered over most people, yet looked down on no one. In addition, Eric enjoyed giving his time to work with homeless LGBTQ+ children in San Francisco as well as Ft. Lauderdale.
Eric valued staying fit and consequently committed to fitness as a lifestyle. He had a vivacious smile, and an even bigger personality that led him to a career as a model and entertainer. He loved big, never knew a stranger, and valued friendships deeply, making everyone around him feel special. Eric was larger than life and will be missed by many.
Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Hazen and maternal grandparents Fred and Eleanor Kissinger.
