Eric Jones

Eric Jones, age 45, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 26th, 2025. He was born on November 13th, 1979 to Linzie and Betty (Brown) Jones. He filled his years with passion, laughter, and an unwavering love for his family and
interests.
Eric's commitment to education was unmatched; he proudly earned his Master's Degree from Columbia Southern University and was currently pursuing his Doctorate degree. His ambition and thirst for knowledge inspired those around him, and he approached
every challenge with determination and grace.
Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Kera (Lopez) Jones, whom he married on May 31, 2008 but have been soulmates for the last 25 years and together they had three wonderful boys, Nathaniel, Zachary and Nicholas. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his boys-whether they were engaged in spirited video game battles or gathered on the couch every Sunday, absorbed in the excitement of Red Zone. He was an avid Michigan Wolverines and Tom Brady was his favorite player, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and joy that sports brought to his life.
In addition to his wife and sons, Eric is survived by parents;Linzie and Betty(Brown) Jones, brothers, Ricky (Ericka) Jones, David (Gwen) Jones, sister-in-law, Nicole (Tom) Anderson,Bailey(Nicole) Anderson, Isabelle Anderson, Khloe Anderson, Best
friend,cousin,father figure Jr.(Stacey) Brown and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and dear friends.
Friends and family will be received Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Burial will be private. Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
