In Loving Memory of Eric Kennedy
January 23, 1970 – November 10, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Alton Kennedy, who left this world on November 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 23, 1970, to Patricia and Frank White, Eric was the youngest of three brothers and shared an especially close and lifelong bond with his beloved little sister, Georgia. Together, they were inseparable partners in laughter, mischief, and every adventure that life brought their way.
Eric's greatest joy began when he met and married his sweetheart, Mona Kennedy in 1988. Their love was one of true devotion and understanding, a partnership that reflected loyalty, laughter, and care in every moment. Together they welcomed their cherished daughter, Anna Kennedy, on February 10, 2000. Anna was the light of Eric's life, his true pride, his joy, and his heart. He celebrated her every accomplishment, always beaming with pride and love that knew no bounds.
Though he was an uncle to Georgia's five children; Christian, Elizabeth, Adrienne, Sarah, and Manar. Eric was so much more than that to them. He was a second father, a guiding hand, and a source of comfort and joy. He filled their childhoods with adventure, creativity, and the kind of warmth that only he could give.
Eric was a man of boundless talent and curiosity. A true jack of all trades and a perfectionist in the most loving sense. Whether he was cooking or baking something delicious from the heart, tending to his garden with his natural green thumb, or creating something extraordinary out of nothing, Eric's creativity and dedication knew no limits. He was entirely self taught, gifted with an eye for beauty and an ability to bring any idea to life.
He had a heart of gold. He was generous, sentimental, and endlessly thoughtful. When Eric shopped, he always thought first of others and he loved every moment of it. Bargain shopping was his sport, and finding the perfect deal brought him pure joy. He had a lifelong love for Cadillacs, Coca-Cola, and Hershey's chocolate, simple pleasures that reflected his classic style. He adored music and fashion, always expressing himself through rhythm, style, and flair.
Eric had the gift of gab and could make friends anywhere. His wit, humor, and big personality could fill a room, and his kindness could soften even the hardest day.
Eric's compassion extended far beyond his circle of family and friends. He was deeply empathetic, often helping those in need and giving selflessly to the less fortunate. His love of animals, especially his beloved Yorkies, was another reflection of his gentle and nurturing spirit.
He was endlessly curious about the world, fascinated by genealogy, and always seeking answers, driven by a passion for understanding life and the people who shaped it. To know Eric was to feel deeply cared for, understood, and loved. His presence made life brighter, his laughter made life sweeter, and his love made life richer.
