Eric Lee King, age 60, of Hot Springs, entered into eternal peace, Sunday, November 20, 2022.
He was born on September 13, 1962, in Wichita, Kansas, to Edward King and Ruth Ann King. He is preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Brian Keith King.
Eric was a Baptist in his faith, a Sous Chef, hairdresser, make-up artist and construction worker. He had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his lifelong partner, James E. Luthultz of Hot Springs; his mother, Ruth Ann King of Huntsville, Alabama; his daughter and son-in-law, Abigail and Buddy Brown; his grandson, Calvin Brown, all of Huntsville, Alabama; his brother, Donald King of Dallas, Texas; his adopted son, David Autrey of Hot Springs; his very good friend, Bridget Hawthorne and her husband, Jeff, of Hot Springs; nieces, nephews; extended family members and a host of wonderful nurses and friends.
A special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, formally known as Kindred Hospice and the staff at Quapaw Nursing and Rehab Center.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the service.
