Eric Richard Roser

Eric Richard Roser, age 77, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Born on November 5, 1948, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Eric was the beloved son of Hugh Richard Roser and Mippa (Nordestgaard) Roser, who preceded him in death. He made Longmont his home in 1972, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and the joys of simple living.

Eric was a highly skilled automotive technician who worked for Volvo for 22 years. His dedication and talent were recognized with Volvo's prestigious VISTA (Volvo International Service Technician Award) honors in 1980 and 1984. As working under dashboards became more difficult, he transitioned to a role as an appliance technician with Sears, and later went on to start his own appliance repair and sales business.

From a young age, Eric loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hunting-interests that ultimately brought him to Colorado. During his earlier family years, he took great pleasure in building model train sets. Later in life, he discovered a passion for home brewing and woodworking, hobbies that reflected his creativity, patience, and love of working with his hands. Above all, he found happiness in spending time with those he loved.

Eric is survived by his loving wife, Liz (Murawski) Roser; his sister, Kathryn (Roser) Babits; his sons, Eric "Ricky" Roser Jr. and Robby Roser; his daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Duke) Roser; and his cherished grandchildren, Taelor (Brandon), Aeryn, and Preston. Great-grandchildren Brantley and Savannah. And many other cousins, nephews, nieces.

Eric will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship that will live on in all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home, 503 Terry Street, Longmont, Colorado.
