Eric Wayne Scott, 44, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, January 20, 2026, at his home.
Eric was born on March 24, 1981, in Covington, Kentucky to Darrel Scott and the late Kimberly Lynn (Collins) Tincher. He worked for Goodwill Industries for nearly 30 years. Most recently, he followed his heart to fulfill his dream of opening a vintage toy store. He called it The Scott Shoppe. In addition to collecting vintage toys, Eric was an avid Star Wars enthusiast and loved collecting Star Wars memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Kimberly Tincher in April of 2025.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie T. (Meyer) Scott; sons, Jacob Scott and Brody Scott; his dad and step mother, Darrel and Cindy Scott; sisters, Sherrie (Ronnie) Coomer, Pam (Jamie) Childers, Kim (Tony) Combs, Tiffany Randall and Sara (Garnett) Setters; brothers, Charles (Carmellitta) Tincher, Timmy (Stephanie) Gasnik, Dylan (Desoray) Tincher and Tyler (Brittany) Scott; paternal grandparents, Sam and Clara Womble; step-father, Charlie Tincher; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron.
