Eric Anthony Serafin, age 29, of Valley, Alabama, passed away on May 18, 2025.
Born on October 19, 1995 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eric's early years were filled with the bustling energy of a large and loving family. He grew up alongside his five siblings: Brianna Carpenter, Jordis Serafin, Jason Long, Jared Long, and Tori Bradberry. Together, they created a tapestry of memories that were woven with the threads of laughter, love, and an unbreakable bond. His family was his anchor, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He leaves behind his father Anthony "Tony" Serafin and his mother Stacy Gill, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss his presence at family gatherings, his easy smile, and his ability to bring warmth and light into every room.
A man of many talents and a friend to all, Eric's presence was a source of comfort and joy. His friends, Richie Kerr and Shane Culpepper, will remember him for his unwavering loyalty and the countless good times they shared. Eric's laughter was infectious, his spirit was generous, and his ability to make anyone feel like the most important person in the room was his gift to the world. Eric's love for his dog, Copper, was evident to all who knew him. Though Copper passed before him, Eric's affection for his four-legged companion remained a testament to his capacity for deep connection with all of life's creatures.
Professionally, Eric was known for his work as a skilled mechanic at United Rentals. His colleagues respected him for his expertise, dedication, and the pride he took in his work. Eric's hands were not only skilled in repairing machinery but were also extended in friendship and support to anyone in need.
Eric's journey through life, though far too short, was marked by an abundance of love, laughter, and the making of cherished memories. His spirit, a beacon of happiness and hope, will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
