Eric Shannon Obituary
GRANDY - Eric McCleese Shannon, 61 passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his residence. He was the son of the late Samuel Shannon and the late Mable Geneva Spellman Shannon.
Surviving is his wife Patricia A. Shannon and son Kyle Shannon of the home; 3 sisters, Patricia Godfrey (Rev. Walter) and Barbara Ann Shannon both of Elizabeth City, NC and Juanita Francis (Charles), King George, Va.; 1 brother, Glover Shannon (Juanita), Elizabeth City, NC, one step-mother, Vivian Shannon, Elizabeth City, NC; 2 step-brothers, Michael Griffin (Sharon), South Mills, NC and Terry Saunders, Elizabeth City, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be June 14, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Powells Point, NC with Elder Dean Satterfield, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Viewing/visitation will be Friday, June 13, 2025, 5–7 p.m. at the funeral home.
