Eric John Steiner

Eric John Steiner was born July 10, 1957 in Akron, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly at home in Richfield, Ohio on October 11, 2023 from complications of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
He was a graduate of Buchtel High School, went to the College of Wooster where he met his future wife Laurie and Malone College where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
He worked for Sysco Foods for over 20 years and then started his own business with Jon Molnar, Guarantee Brands, marketing Joe Namath's memorabilia.
Eric was kind to everyone who knew him and made friends everywhere he went. His many interests included Legos, movies, soccer, cooking, his wife, his children, and his grandchild.
Eric is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Laurie Glandt Steiner; three angelic children, Stephanie Steiner (Ron Kruty), William Steiner, and Timothy Steiner; his beloved granddaughter, Anastasia Olsen; his three siblings, Christian Steiner (Susan), Suzanne Steiner, and Mark Steiner; his three constant companions Leona, Buzz, and Chewie the dogs; and many extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Klein Steiner and father, John E. Steiner as well as his mother-in-law, Marie Shimek Glandt and father-in-law, L. William Glandt.
Calling hours are on Wednesday, October 18th at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 North Miller Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 from 10 am until 12 noon. A memorial service will follow immediately afterwards. Graveside services will follow the memorial services at Fairview Cemetery at 3990 Brecksville Road in Richfield, Ohio.
Friends and family are invited to share stories during the memorial service if they so wish.
