Eric Lee Stevens

Eric Lee Stevens was born on April 12, 1961 in Concord, NC to the late Clyde Davis and the late Grace Lee Stevens Misenheimer. Eric Stevens departed his life on April 18, 2023.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: daughter, Natasha Miller; brother, Terry Davis, son, Strotize Tramine Stevens and cousin, Angela Grier.
He received his education from Concord High School. He was a star athlete in football and track. Mr. Eric loved to cook and was well known in the restaurant business. Everyone always wanted Eric to fry their fish. Eric was kind, loving, compassionate and giving. He was a joy to be around and always loved having a good time. Eric loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He never met a stranger and loved talking to others. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved giving his testimony and giving praise to God. He was a wonderful husband, a great father, loving grandfather and a good friend. He never judged anyone and always gave good advice. His favorite saying was "We all have a pass, so why am I still being judged for my mine."
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: Doris Moss Stevens of the home, sons: Xavier Stevens, Emiziem Osuagwu, Tory Cruise, Montreg Ford, Kenlo Steele; grandchildren: Kaiden Stevens, Alijah Stevens, Ayden Stevens, Rhylee Rose, Egypt Stevens all of Concord; brothers: Daryl Davis of New York, Jerry Gleen of Greenbelt, MD, Jerry Misenheimer of Kannapolis, NC, Horace Misenheimer of Concord; sisters: Desirre Rooks of Pough Keepsie, NY, April Boyd (Derrell) of Concord, best friend: Darryl Barrier; nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; five favorite cousins: Terry Grier, Tammy Bostics, Montea Grier, Reginald Stevens of Concord, NC, Montea Grier and aunt, Mary Jane Stevens.
Although he went through many years of sickness he still managed to smile, love and always gave forgiveness even though times it was not returned. What a beautiful lesson we could all learn from him.
Funeral arrangements f will be held on Wednesday, April 26,2023 at New Life Baptist Church located at 1281 Biscayne Drive in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Family visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Park in Concord. Lamb Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the family.
