On January 17, 1969, Eric was born to Frank and Dorothy Turner of Madisonville, Texas. Eric worked hard and graduated from Madisonville High School where he participated and excelled in many sports. After graduation from high school, Eric moved to Houston, Texas. On March 25, 2025, God called Eric to his eternal resting place.
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Frank Turner; grandfather, Willie Jack Turner; and his grandmothers, Lee Turner and Dorothy Griffin.
To cherish his memories, Eric leaves his mother, Dorothy Turner; two children, Eric Dewayne and Shakail Turner; and four grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kaliah, Lyric, and Jayden Turner, all of Houston. Also mourning his death is his sister, Twayna Turner of Somerville, Texas. Eric leaves his love, joy, smiles and wittiness to his uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
A homegoing service, officiated by Pastor James O. Holiday and Pastor Toni Green, will be conducted at 3 P.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Madisonville Funeral Home. Mr. Turner will be laid to rest in West End Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour before the service.

Final arrangements for Eric Turner are under the compassionate care and direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
