Eric Everett Webb, age 52, passed away unexpectedly in
Linden, MI, on Sunday, March 22, 2026. He was born on April 3, 1973, to Brian and Mary (Bumstead) Webb in
Muskegon, MI. He graduated from Montague High School before attending Muskegon Community College. Eric worked in the leather industry, spending the last 15 years at Stahl Leather Finishing. In his younger years Eric loved competing in all sports, especially basketball, which he played through college. He loved playing golf and looked forward to participating in The Webb-Osborne annual family golf outing. He was a passionate fan of sports, especially the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, and University of Michigan (GO BLUE!). Fascinated by astronomy, he often found himself captivated by the mystery of the universe. He always looked forward to pool parties at Stephanie's, and of course going to the casino. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of all of them. He was a loving, selfless man who always made sure the needs of others were taken care of before his own and was a best friend to many. We will forever be grateful for his guidance and words of wisdom, which were a true blessing to our family. His fun-loving and happy-go-lucky demeanor made him the life of every party, and his smile and sense of humor will be missed by many.
Eric will be lovingly remembered by his four children: Reilly (Jacob) Marsh, Tate Webb, J.B. Webb, and Reghan Webb; significant other, Nicole Cassady; Nicole's children, Madison (Jonathan) Hernandez and Danny Newsom; four grandchildren: Cooper, Baylor, Eliana, and Cade; father, Brian Webb; sister, Stephanie (Ernest) Bentz; nieces and nephews: Kalup (Ashley) Bentz, Mackenzie (Erynn) Bentz-Bailey, and Brendan Bentz; great-nephew: Easton. He was preceded in death by his mother and his son, Nicholas Webb.
