Rick it is now three years and it is still difficult to accept but that is what life is a cycle. You left many people that truly cared for you. You are sorely missed and at some time we will see you again, until then RIP brother.

So stunned to hear about Rick's passing. So many memories not only from working together but the many crazy off duty adventures. Fishing in Newport Harbor and having to "drain" the beer off of John Wayne's yacht. So many funny memories. You will always be a source of treasured memories. RIP Rick!

Rick, although you have been gone a year the memories I have make it easier to accept. You were a good friend and a great partner. Your great instincts helped in our success working cases. Rick you were a good friend and a great partner. It is incredibly difficult to believe you have been taken from us. I will miss our conversations but I will remember them fondly. I am grateful we enjoyed a funny conversation shortly before you left us. Thank you for being my friend we will catch up on the other side brother.

You were one of the "BEST" Ricky. I will never forget our baseball games at the fields below our Academy and going to Wongs Market after for a quick "refreshment " before getting back to the beat. You were an outstanding cop Rick and it was such a honore to have been able to be your friend. Code 4 Rick. Ill see you at at the station!!!

Thoughts are with Rick´s family, along with many fun and positive memories of working with, and around him, during our LAPD careers. Such a talented detective, his skills and work ethic were best demonstrated during his days of working the Hollywood Division Homicide Unit. RIP, Ricky!
