Erica J. Aragon, born on May 3, 1980, in Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on December 23, 2024. She was a dedicated professional, serving as a contract specialist for the United States Military, where her expertise and commitment to excellence were deeply valued. Erica's educational journey culminated in a Master’s degree in Business from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, further enhancing her capabilities in her career.
Throughout her life, Erica was known for her vibrant personality and her love for engaging with others. She possessed a remarkable ability to connect with people, often leaving a lasting impression through her conversations. While she was recognized for her brilliance, those close to her also appreciated her stubbornness, a testament to her strong character and determination.
Erica's passion for travel enriched her life with diverse experiences and memories. A highlight of her youth included spending her junior year of high school as a foreign exchange student in Norway, an adventure that broadened her horizons and provided her with cherished memories.
She is survived by her beloved father, Juan Aragon; and her siblings, Bryan Aragon and Christa Aragon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Aragon, whose memory will be honored by those who knew and loved Erica.
A memorial service to celebrate Erica’s life will be held on May 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola & Rio Grande Crematory, located at 305 Calle Salazar, Espanola, NM 87532. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember and honor the life of a remarkable woman whose spirit will be missed by many.
