Erik Ben Swanson lived a simple life. His mother, family and close friends were the center of his heart, while his love for the outdoors made his life whole. A true outdoorsman, Erik appreciated the peace and beauty in nature and loved the fresh air and energy of the great outdoors. He was a gifted contractor that pursued perfection. Erik's excellence and dedication was appreciated by all his customers, colleagues, and business partner.
From an early age, Erik developed a love for the great outdoors. He explored every lake, river, and stream from Pennsylvania to New Jersey, searching for what he referred to as "A Honey Hole". He would share these secret spots with his beloved family and close friends. Erik's greatest passion was fly fishing for trout on his own. It seemed like these were the moments he was truly at peace. He also loved to hunt and saw the outdoors as his personal sanctuary, where he preferred to commune with nature over people.
Erik's passions did not stop at fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed cooking, sporting clays, socializing with close friends, and playing a competitive game of cards or pool. Whatever time he had left, he spent with mom.
Erik led a life filled with honesty, integrity, and respect. He had the most profound effect on people. His laugh and his smile were contagious. He was always himself, and in doing so, his friends and family respected him greatly. All who knew Erik Swanson will treasure his memory.

Erik was managing the building of our home (along with Dimitri) in NJ. He was pleasant to talk with, and upbeat. We were always in awe of his vast knowledge of construction, and commitment to excellence, details and perfection. He will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace.

We worked together at Toll house in CCP in the Poconos. He was a fun guy to be around. He loved the outdoors and fishing. We used to play penny games in the houses doing breaks. We had so much fun with loads of laughter. So sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed

My beautiful brother, I’m going to miss that fabulous smile, the way you could light up a room, your magnetic personality. Those great big bear hugs.
I will forever cary you in my broken heart. Rest in blissful peace my little brother. Michelle
