Erin played my mother in "August: Osage County" at Western Illinois University and we stayed in touch after college. Eventually we both met up again in California and we quickly became close friends. We made yummy fun meals together, went hiking, she was teaching me about her plants and herbs, we had sleepovers and talked about conspiracy theories and spirituality. When I moved away from LA, we would text almost every day and leave each other long voice memos, I always looked forward to that. She was incredibly talented and dedicated to her craft. Erin was generous and hilarious and I will miss hearing her voice and her laugh. She made me feel so special and the level of vulnerability we had with each other is irreplaceable. Her friendship got me through some difficult times. I loved her so much and was so lucky to consider her one of my closest friends, if even for a short time. She will always be a part of me and I´ll carry her memory wherever I go.
