I am not sure where I met Erin, perhaps at a Book Signing for Born Colored. I was teaching going to teach a class on Black Women's history and decided to use her book in the class. The students loved the book and enjoyed her visit to the class. I feature Black Women alums of Roosevelt University in my recent class and was Googling to find a photo as she is the Alum of the week (Oct 25)! She was such a lovely woman. I am certain that she will be missed!
